Yoga Olympiad Competition Guidelines
General Guidelines and Terms & Conditions for competition and attempt
- Compliance with yoga Olympiad Rules: Participants must strictly adhere to the Record Specific Rules and Regulations provided by Yoga Olympiad.
- Safety and Ethical Standards: Yoga Olympiad does not endorse attempts or records that could potentially cause harm to property, health, morality, or the general well-being of individuals, organizations, or society. Similarly, records should not cause injury to any animals.
- Approval Process: The decision to approve or reject any record attempt and issue certification rests solely with the Yoga Olympiad team. Certification may take 02-03 weeks from the date of receipt of all required claim documents and evidence. Failure to provide necessary documentation may result in the rejection of the record claim.
- Presence of Adjudicators and Witnesses: While not mandatory, the authenticity of the record should be ensured through the presence of adjudicators and /or witnesses at the location of the record/Competition attempt.
- Witness Requirements: At least two witnesses must be present during the record/Competition attempt. Complete details of all witnesses must be included with the claim documents, and all documents should be signed by each witness.
- Publication of Approval and Certification: Approval and certification will be published only after the completion of the attempt verification process. All materials submitted to Yoga Olympiad become the property of Yoga Olympiad upon submission, and Yoga Olympiad is not obligated to return any materials to the applicant or attempting organization.
- Submission Instructions: Record/competition claim materials should be submitted electronically to contact@yogaolympiad.com or sent by post to the Yoga Olympiad office, clearly indicating the Claim ID, applicant’s name, address, and contact details.
- Evidence Requirements: Evidence should include a cover letter, participant details, completed witness forms, logbooks, video footage, high-quality digital photographs, and media coverage items (audio/video/print/electronic), such as newspaper clippings or news URLs.
- Minor Applicants: If the record/Competition attempter is under 19 years of age, submission of a birth certificate is mandatory.
- Preferred Submission Method: While online claims and registrations are preferred, documents can also be submitted in person at the Yoga Olympiad office.
